The story spread that a Syrian migrant had raped a child in the Turkish city of Kayseri, and it seemed to be the last straw for the Turkish population: they rioted in the streets, attacked shops run by Syrians and sometimes even set them on fire. "We don't want any more Syrians, we don't want any more foreigners!" can be heard on the video recording of the protest.
